Today's blessings

The weather is beautiful for October 29 in Missouri. Couldn't help but think how lucky I am (even though I have a cold and my voice is gone) that I can enjoy this day. Story Hour was this morning and I never get tired of the little ones and their enthusiasm for everything. we've learned "The five little pumpkins" this year and it was a hit. My house is fairly clean. I have about 3 good books to finish and one to listen to when I get a chance - like the days I'm doing housework and need a distraction.

One annoyance that bugs me is the flood of political calls we are getting - even in the library.I am totally insulted when I answer the phone and it is a computer. Can't even talk back to that. I can try to play tricks on the minds of pollsters when there is a real person. Six more days
