No time, No time

No time, no time, again I say, No time. I want to get to this blog more often, but something always happens. Now my mother has shingles. She's miserable, of course. She says, "What have I done to make God punish me like this?". I try to tell her, He's testing her and she is flunking. I really do sympathize with her, though. They're on her face, and they look miserable. I know she's uncomfortable. By the way, she's 98 yrs. old. She will be 99 on Dec. 5, so her patience has about run out.

Had an odd situation in the library yesterday. This guy locked his keys in his van, and totally lost it. He kept saying, "Why do these things have to happen to me?". Well, duh, you locked the door without taking the keys. He called his brother to come get him, bring the extra key, something. The brother told him how stupid he was on the phone and he started using the good ole F....word, so I reminded him this was a library and there were children present. Brother didn't rescue him until about 15 minutes before closing time. The teen-agers were laughing at him and that didn't help the situation, but I couldn't blame them. It was really weird. I guess Halloween is coming.
